Kitimat Firefighters Ladder of Hope

The Kitimat Firefighters Ladder of Hope Charitable Fund is a donor-advised fund established by the Kitimat Firefighters Charitable Association (KFCA) and administered by the Kitimat Community Foundation (KCF). The fund is dedicated to supporting and strengthening the Kitimat and Kitamaat communities. Its mission is to raise awareness and provide financial assistance to local charitable and youth organizations, ensuring they have the resources needed to make a meaningful impact.

KFCA manages the application process and provides recommendations to KCF regarding grant disbursements. As the fund steward, KCF ensures that all funds are used in accordance with the fund’s purpose, KCF’s charitable objectives, and the requirements of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
